It worked great on some butcher block cutting boards that my husband made.

I just learned that spending winters in Arizona I must oil my wood furniture. Tung oil is said to be best. This was simple to use with a large microsoft cloth for applying, and then wiping off an hour later then repeating after 12 hours. It's pretty thick. I left a layer that somewhat soaked in after an hour. After both treatments, my furniture looks fabulous.

I've been using this tung oil product for over 40 years......it's a great way to finish a well-sanded wood project to a rich, deep and lustrous result. Successive coating can be used over time if needed; just rub small amounts into the wood in a circular motion, and finish by stroking along the grain. It's easy and durable for interior applications, and always brings out the beauty of the wood's natural color and grain character.
